Stampede Celebrates 25 Years with Company-wide Spirit Week

Stampede was founded on January 14, 1995 in the Chicago Stockyards, fast-forward 25 years and the team is celebrating a quarter of a century across four facilities this year. This milestone is not experienced by many companies and Stampede has their customers, employees, and community to thank for this success. If it were not for their passion, dedication, and commitment to teamwork they would not be where they are today. Stampede has continued to grow these past 25 years, from moving the production facility to Bridgeview, IL in 2001, to renovating the newest facility in Sunland Park, NM in 2018. Stampede has become a leading innovative foodservice and retail supplier across North America.

The offices and cafeterias across Stampede’s four locations were flooded with cheer earlier this year in January as they celebrated the milestone with a spirit week! Four volunteer committees helped with decorations and organized events. The spirit committee organized a contest where employees from all facilities could compete for best dressed in each of the categories. The theme days included: 90’s day, pajama day, twin day, sports day, and a Stampede gear day. Sophie Bozek, a Stampede employee over 22 years, said “I had so much fun dressing up with my coworkers. It was so funny to see all the crazy costumes!” The week was complete with a company-wide pizza party where all employees were automatically entered to win nearly 200 raffle prizes.
