Stampede Hosts A Second On-Site COVID-19 Vaccination Event

Stampede, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health, held its second on-site COVID-19 vaccination event at its Bridgeview facility this past Friday, May 21, 2021. The event was open to all Stampede employees, who work at any of the three Illinois facilities, and their families to safely and conveniently be administered the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

With the help and encouragement of the Stampede team, the event was successful in having a turnout of nearly 150 people that registered and received their first dose of the vaccine. The second dose will be offered to those that attended on June 11, 2021. The Human Resources Team continues to aid those still seeking vaccination appointments.

Stampede is proud of its ongoing efforts to “Be COVID Smart, and Be COVID Safe”. Since the onset of the pandemic, the Stampede team has focused its efforts toward protecting the safety and well-being of its team members and their community. The Stampede COVID Safety Task Force continues to meet on a frequent basis to conduct full risk assessments, brainstorm ideas, and have implemented over 80 precautionary measures to keep Stampede facilities as safe as possible for all essential workers.
